Budget tracking lands in the beta

Day rates, spent, remaining: every project shows its budget bar, with a signal at 85% and at 100%.

planck helps a team run its projects: who's on what, which week, for how many days. With this beta, it also answers the question that always comes next: where does the budget stand?

What's coming

  • Day rates, per person or per role, to put a value on planned time.
  • Spent and remaining, calculated from the schedule, project by project.
  • A budget bar on every project, readable at a glance.

Two signals, no more

The bar changes state at 85% of the budget, as a heads-up, then at 100%, as an alert. Two clear thresholds rather than a dashboard to interpret: the goal is to talk about it in time, not to find out from the invoice.

Who it's for

Agencies, engineering consultancies, freelance collectives: every team that sells time and has to stay on budget.

Budget tracking is in beta. If you want to try it on your projects, request access.
