Hourly booking and paid add-ons
Rent a projector for two hours, with an “installation included” add-on. A new price grid for each community.
Communo is for pooling equipment between communities: a shared inventory, online bookings, rules set by each community. This release adds two things people have been asking for for a long time.
Booking by the hour
Until now, you booked by the day. That's too much for a projector you need for two hours for a meeting. Every item can now be booked by the hour, and the community decides, item by item, whether to allow it.
Add-ons, paid if need be
A booking can come with add-ons: “installation included”, “delivery”, “cables provided”. Each add-on has its own price, possibly zero, set by the community doing the lending.
A new price grid for each community
Prices are still set by each community: the same item can be free for members and paid for partner communities. The grid now handles hourly durations and add-ons, with no maths to do by hand.
As always, these new features are available to every community, whatever their plan.
